Behind the Brand

Hi, I’m Lauren, the founder of nadair wellness- a brand I started creating over 2 years ago, driven by a love of natural scents and a desire to bring a little calm into every day life. 

I’ve always loved the ritual of lighting a candle after a long, stressful day, but over time, I noticed that many scented candles and fragrance oils gave me headaches. I wanted a way to enjoy that soothing experience without the overpowering scents; and essential oils were the perfect solution.

While I was navigating my first corporate job, creating candles became my little escape from day to day stress. Over the past two years, I’ve been testing and perfecting natural wax melts and refillable candles from my home, experimenting with blends that truly help you pause, breathe, and feel calm.

“Nàdair” (pronounced nah-dair) comes from the Scottish Gaelic word for nature- the heart of everything we create. I have always loved being in nature from a young age and find it deeply relaxing, so I wanted to create products that would bring the calmness of nature into your home. From our candles and wax melts crafted with pure essential oils extracted from plants, to our candle vessels inspired by serene moments outdoors, every product reflects the calm and beauty of nature. 

Our logo is all in lower case, chosen to feel gentle, relaxed and approachable. You will also notice a white feather in our logo that mimics the accent on the ‘a’ in nàdair. White feathers are a sign of inner peace, protection and many believe are signs from a loved one. I added the feather to our logo as a tribute to my Nana- my way of bringing her light with me on this journey. 

nadair wellness is more than just candles and wax melts—it’s a space for connection and comfort. Every product I make is designed to help you create moments of peace in your own life, whether it’s winding down after work, enjoying a mindful evening, or simply taking a moment for yourself. I started nadair wellness to share that sense of escape with others, because we all deserve a little bit of serenity in our busy lives.
